Nobel Peace Prize

This morning our president won the Nobel Peace Prize.
An award the Nobel Jury says they hope will help Obama achieve his goals (of peace, presumably), and in recognition of the global communities change of attitude since the election.

French president Sarkozy has these things to say:
“It confirms, finally, America’s return to the hearts of the people of the world.”
“Along this path, you can count on my resolute support and that of France,” Sarkozy added.

The Nobel jury in Olso said Obama had “captured the world’s attention and given its people hope for a better future.”

Reaction from the right has been predictably manic, aside from comments by Tim Pawlenty and John McCain.
